Eastern Creek

Many thanks to those members who supported the club by attending the recent Shannon’s Eastern Creek Classic car show.  For the first time in many years we had TWO Step-downs on display Kevin Hickling drove his convertible down from Taree & Mario Rok drove his lovely black sedan down from Queensland.  Also, Gary Murphy drove his lovely ’63 Rambler down from Queensland (again) so a SPECIAL thanks go to you people for that superb effort.  We also had a weekend visit from Colin Main, the President of the Rambler-AMC Car Club based in Melbourne so thanks go to he & Rohan who organised it.

This was a wonderful day with great company, over 2,000 cars from a multitude of clubs of all makes and marques.

The club had a display of cars in rough generational order on the apron of the Pits and they looked magnificent!

Our club this year had two garages in the Pits as it was the 100 year anniversary of Hudson.

In the garages we had a great display of memorabilia and Les Pendlebury's 42 Commodore, alongside Kevin Hickling's step down convertible…dribble dribble…sorry, it was beautiful!
