Orange Blossom Car Show Baulkham Hills

It all started with my alarm clock sounding @ 7.45 am on Sunday morning, 27 September 2009.  It was the day of the Orange Blossom Car Show located in the car park the Bull & Bush Hotel on the corner of Seven Hills & Windsor Roads, Baulkham Hills.

This car show is an annual event organised by Mr Wayne Merton MP (State Government member for Baulkham Hills) & features a large variety of cars & marques.

Once at the show I met a lot of people I knew & so much so that by the time I spoke to everybody & had a wander around, the day was almost over.

Dale from the Studebaker Car Club was gracious enough to give our club some Rambler sales brochures for the clubs library & I am sure that these will make good reading for our members.

The day was very cold & windy with some sun but it took almost a week for my lips to recover as they were wind chaffed.

All in all it was a great day with great people & great cars.  Unfortunately I had to leave just as the presentation of the trophies was starting but I believe that congratulations are in order for Les Pendlebury.  He took a place with his lovely Hudson.

Those who attended were;

Greg Palumbo - 1971 Rambler Matador

Alan Palumbo - 1965 Rambler Classic

Les Pendlebury - 1942 Hudson Commodore

Charlie Grima - 1965 Rambler Classic

George Ross - 1955 Hudson Hornet

Harry McNaught - 1934 Terraplane Ambulance

Greg Anthony - 1968 Rambler Rebel

Carole & Michael Wheeler - 64 Rambler Classic

Tony & Wendy Atkinson - 1968 Rambler Rebel

 I look forward to next years Orange Blossom Car Show. Greg Palumbo
