FOR SALE

Reluctant sale by retiring car collector.
Stunning example of a chrome bumper 1964 Rambler Classic. This vehicle is a rolling example of an original 25,000 mile car this car is an unmolested time capsule. This unusual Classic beauty was imported from the USA and from the original owner's family five years ago. At the time I was informed that the only things replaced were the battery and tires. The 1964 Rambler Classic was the improved version of the award winning 1063's Rambler's American "car of the year award". The 1963 version was praised for it's ground breaking design featuring amongst other things styling innovation, dual braking ( a first for an American car) curved side glass (another first) and advanced uni-body construction.
If you are looking for something different than all other cars at a car show this car is it. Featuring distinctive iridescent green metallic paint, woman love the colour of this car choosing it above all other car colours in my fleet. White wall tyres. An interior that is original and unmarked, in fact the back seat doesn't look like it has ever been sat in. A slight patina reflecting the car's 55 years existence and careful ownership.
These original cars do not come on to the market very often. Price is a very reasonable $20,000 far less than the cost to restore a vehicle these days. Car comes with awards won at multiple car sghows and a raft of spares. The Rambler is a Classic car that is extremely easy to obtain spares if ever needed. Ramblers are becoming extremly popular right now and have an enthusiastic band of dedicated followers.

This is a very rare Australian bodied 1934 Terraplane. It is based on a 1930 Essex with 5 louvres in the bonnet compared to the standard 7 in Terraplane’s. The Terraplane were built by Hudson in the US, then imported into Australia where local body builders built their own unique bodies.

The vehicle has only done 4000km since restoration. The paintwork is perfect and is mechanically very sound. Hood and upholstery are faultless. New hood irons, hood lining. No rust and has always been garaged. New: axle flex pins and bushes, shackle bushes, springs have been reset, chassis repaired, gearbox overhauled, clutch recorked, radiator repaired, engine has been reconditioned. Current non-transferrable club registration. Ray Kurz 07 5437 2655, asking $35 000 ONO
